NICE e500 Electric CarThe e500 is one of the most promising electric cars we've seen so far.  Unfortunately it sounds quite expensive at around £25,000, but its based on the very successful Fiat which won Europe's Car of the Year award.  For those electric car fans who want to get away from the iconic image of the G-Wiz, this may well be the car for you!.....

Tazzari Zero

Tazzari ZeroThe Tazzari Zero isn't quite available yet in the UK but according to the manufacturers website the ZERO will have its world premiere at the International Motor Show in Bologna, Italy at the end of 2009 and soon afterwards it will be available to buy through evstores in the UK.  It's another sporty little Italian number similar to the the NICE MyCar.....

NICE Ze-0

NICE Ze-0A real break-through for electric cars in the UK - the Ze-0 is a five door, five seat family oriented electric car with excellent potential to succeed.  As with other electric cars by NICE, this is an existing conventional car which they've converted to become an electrical car.  This approach has pros and cons, but it's one of the few non-tiny electric car in the UK.....

Peugeot iOn

Peugeot are set to launch a new flagship electric vehicle in Europe at the end of 2010. The Peugeot iOn is based around the Mitsubishi i-MiEV.  The iOn is not Peugeot's first electric vehicle.  Between 1995 and 2003, Peugeot sold the 106 Electric and they claim they have sold more zero emission vehicles than any other manufacturer worldwide.

Citroen C-Zero

Citroen are set to launch another electric vehicle in Europe at the end of 2010.  This will sit alongside the Citroen Evie. The Citroen C-Zero is based around the Mitsubishi i-MiEV and yes, it may look familiar.  It is exactly the same base vehicle used for the Peugeot iOn.  The base vehicle, the i-MiEV will also be an electric car sold by Mitsubishi in it's own right.

Think Ox

Think OxThe Think Ox is actually the base vehicle for a number of variations.  It will be available as a 5-seater family car version, an MPV, and a coupe.  The Think Ox is scheduled for delivery in 2011or 2012 behind the Think City which is the flagship Th!nk electric car in the UK.....

Think Open

Think Open Electric CarThe Think Open is essentially an open-top version of the Think City.  Unlike most open top cars, with the Th!nk Open, you can actually hear everything going on around you rather than listening to your petrol engine polluting the environment!  Still a concept car at the moment but watch this space......
